Stage set for Highway Challenge

The BVICF Highway Challenge will circle the western end of the island commencing from Slaney (near to the former offices of the Department of Information and Public Relations), approximately 400 meters west of the Prospect Reef Roundabout.
Cyclists will travel west towards Frenchman’s Cay Junction, turning at the Junction but on returning, will go over Rockville or Manual Reef Hill, and continue to the Roundabout at Prospect Reef to complete one lap.

Elite riders will be doing three laps or a total of 47.1 miles. Ladies, Veterans and Masters will be doing two laps or 31.4 miles and Juniors will be doing one lap or 15.7 miles.
Race will commence at 7 a.m. sharp with registration at 6:30 a.m.
Registration for members is $10 and $20 for non-members.
Medals will be awarded in all categories.
The Federation is encouraging all cyclists to come out and participate and is also encouraging volunteers to assist us to safely executive this event.
